The Junior Media Planner/Buyer will develop and implement media plans for MarCom Group and our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and planning to determine client needs and provide insight into advertising opportunities
  • Responsible for all media planning and buying for our clients
  • Determine the most suitable media mix given the nature of each client’s business, budget, and preferred advertising media
  • Monitor the performance of client advertising campaigns, suggesting optimization, and reporting the results
  • Research the current media landscape, keeping up to date with the latest media trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with our clients and with advertising and media platforms

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of all existing media, including TV, radio, streaming services, digital, social platforms, and emerging media options
  • Ability to use a variety of advertising analytics tools, databases, and spreadsheet programs to track and manage advertising campaigns
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good analytical and organizational skills
  • Effective at working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of study such as business, market research, communication studies, or marketing
  • 1+ years of proven experience in media planning and buying
