MarCom Group Assistance Leads to DIA Hiring Success

Whom do you trust with your organization's recruitment marketing program?

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) trusts MarCom Group.

Since December 2005, MarCom Group has helped DIA improve its recruiting results through full-service marketing, including branding, advertising, and support for DIA-exclusive hiring events.

DIA is a vital member of our nation's intelligence community, providing foreign military intelligence analysis to warfighters, defense policymakers, and force planners throughout the world.   The skills needed for DIA's Intelligence Officer, Analyst, and Intelligence Support Officer positions include everything from human intelligence gathering and foreign language capabilities to financial management and acquisitions contracting.   The DIA's scientists, engineers, information technology specialists, and other intelligence staff contribute substantially to America's counterterrorism efforts .

Since the end of 2005, MarCom Group has forged a working partnership with the Defense Intelligence Agency in support of DIA's recruitment marketing program that has led to outstanding hiring payoffs for DIA.   MarCom Group's technical advice and services have contributed substantially to increase the number of qualified applicants available to DIA.   One way MarCom Group has accomplished this result is through our ability to capture the key aspects of DIA's vacancies in job postings on national online career boards, specialized employment boards, and local employment websites.   MarCom Group's award-winning graphic design team and our outstanding print and broadcast media services have provided full-service marketing support to DIA over this same time period.

Between November 2006 and February 2007, MarCom Group assisted DIA by planning, arranging, publicizing, and managing three agency-sponsored Hiring Events that led to immediate employment offers for extremely difficult-to-fill positions.   MarCom Group used its skill in identifying key print, broadcast, and electronic advertising media and in creating and posting DIA-specific employment advertisements and messages.   We also created electronic banner ads and messages for targeted e-mail pushes publicizing the hiring events.   These tactics ensured that these DIA-exclusive hiring events attracted large numbers of qualified applicants in the targeted regions of College Park, Maryland; Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Tysons Corner, Virginia.   These events drew more than 3,000 attendees, surpassing the client's expectations and enabling on-the-spot screening, determination of qualifications, and interviews by DIA hiring managers.

MarCom Group's pre-event publicity, administrative management of the day-of-event services, and post-event applicant analysis typifies the recruitment knowledge, advertising skills, management capabilities, and overall customer service attributes possessed by MarCom Group's professional and administrative staff.

If your organization is tired of the same old meager results from the job fairs your recruiters are attending, why not try a MarCom Group hiring event tailored to your own hiring needs?   The staff at MarCom Group will be happy to help you ensure the success of your recruitment program.   Call us at 703-218-1600, or e-mail us at info@MarComGroup.com.
